Adrian Hunnings is the owner and principal broker of Palladian One Realty, LLC. He holds a broker’s license in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Previously, Adrian was manager of the Bethesda office of Weichert Realtors (2007–2008) and the Spring Valley office of W.C. & A.N. Miller (2002–2006).

Adrian and his wife, Sarah, have lived in the Washington, DC neighborhood of Sixteenth Street Heights since 1984, and have practiced real estate as a team in DC, Maryland, and Virginia since 1992. Adrian earned his GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and Associate Broker’s license in DC in 1996.

As an active member of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), Adrian served on the Board of Directors from 2006 to 2009, acting as Treasurer in 2008 and Secretary in 2009. In 2009, Adrian served on the Public Policy Committee, the Professional Development Committee, and the RPAC/RPIC Committee. From 2002 to 2008, Adrian was a member of the Contract and Clause Committee, and was Chairman from 2003 until 2006. In 2005, he served on the Grievance Committee.  Adrian will be the 2011 President of GCAAR.

Sarah and Adrian were Peace Corps volunteers during 1973–1976, living and working in the West African country of the Ivory Coast. As major donors to GCAAR Cares and participants in such activities as “Rebuilding Together”, “Walk for the Homeless”, and Habitat for Humanity, they continue to be actively involved in supporting their community.

Adrian teaches the Continuing Education classes at GCAAR and is also a GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) instructor. He strongly believes that GCAAR can be instrumental in elevating the ethical and professional performance of the industry, increasing the public’s trust and confidence and, in turn, benefiting all agents.

Sarah and Adrian support the political advocacy of the National Association of Realtors® and the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors® on behalf of all Realtors® and their clients. They have been major donors to the Realtor Political Action Committee during the past six years. Adrian believes that agents should be aware of all developments in public policy which affect the ability of the American public to purchase and own a home.
